As a child growing up in the Pacific NW I spent a lot of time outdoors, building forts, collecting arrowheads and agates along the Columbia River and taking pictures with any kind of camera I could get my hands on. I am fascinated with color and texture and do a lot of abstract macro photography. Many of these photos have been the inspiration for my jewelry designs, which incorporate mixed metals, organic stringing materials, precious and semi precious stones, one of a kind focal points, European glass and anything unusual from around the world that I can get my hands on. I love it when a piece has a story and a connection to some one or some place in the world that I can share with people.
