Tom Gail is an artist who lives and paints in his studio overlooking the Columbia River in Portland Oregon, and in Maui, Hawaii. His career began in earnest in 2005 when he created his first paintings that were exhibited and sold. His first choice of media is watercolor, but recently he has added impressionistic paintings in acrylic. The subjects he paints are landscapes, portraits, figures, animals, and Hawaiian themes.
His paintings most often tell a story and feature bright, exciting color. He has had one-man shows in Newberg, OR, Maui, Hi, and currently his paintings are on permanent exhibition at Erik Runyan Jewelers, 900 Washington St. in Vancouver, Wa.
